Ct X Ray Room Window 12mm Lead Glass With Alloy Frame

 

Lead glass, when compared to ordinary glass (also referred to as soda-glass or soda-lime silica-glass), is a dense and heavy material as lead is more than five times as heavy as calcium. So lead glass has a density of 2.4 g/cm3 and lead glass has a density of 3.1 - 5.9 g/cm3.

 

 

X-RAY GLASS IS:

 

  • Available in 8mm-25mm thickness lead shielding equivalences and higher ratings are available upon request.
  • The highest density x-ray lead glass available for the most efficient medical radiation shielding quality, and yet also allowing approx. 88% spectral light transmission.
  • Uniformly dense and is a composition of high quality materials providing a dependable shielding value.
  • Lead glass also has higher electrical resistance, higher refractive index (up to 1.8 compared to 1.5 for lead-free glass), lower working temperature and lower viscosity.
